Hi, I’m Paul Vercoe, and I’m passionate about making weddings truly unforgettable. With over 20 years of experience as a wedding singer, musician, DJ, and MC, I’ve had the joy of being part of countless love stories. My journey in music began long before I stepped onto the wedding stage. I was a Top 13 Live Finalist on Australian Idol in 2006 and had the honor of releasing a Top 40 ARIA single with “Crazy” in 2004. I’ve toured internationally with the vocal group Track 5, performing in the UK, Germany, Finland, and Hong Kong. One of my proudest achievements was winning the Phillips Song of the Year award in 2002 for my song “Not the One.” When it comes to weddings, I believe every couple deserves a personalized experience. My acoustic repertoire spans a wide range of genres and artists, from contemporary hits by Ed Sheeran and Sia to classic rock anthems from the 90s. Whether you’re looking for heartfelt ballads or upbeat tracks to get your guests dancing, I’m here to bring your vision to life. I can perform solo or offer dynamic duo and trio arrangements to suit your needs. whether it’s learning an obscure song, providing advice on how to structure the reception, meeting and working in with venue managers prior to the wedding, holding a camera, serving champagne after the ceremony, fetching some last minute necessities for the bride…I’ve even helped rescue ‘Granny’ from an unfortunate slip into a muddy dam on a private acreage! (It’s a long story!) Whatever I can do to help before and on the day… I will.

Whether it’s taking the microphone out to one of the kids to sing-a-long with a song or encouraging ‘Nan and Pa’ to hop off their seats to have a lovely waltz to an Elvis classic, I like to ensure that everyone is having a great time. I tune into the ‘vibe’ of the wedding, acknowledge the wide variety of tastes and demographcis and ensure that maximum enjoyment and fun is being had by all.

I am the ultimate chameleon

as per my bio, I really do have an incredibly wide range of songs that I cover both acoustically and in the DJ sets. I can play a sentimental love ballad at your ceremony by the likes of Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton, Eva Cassidy, Ed Sheeran, John Legend and Christina Perri and then a few hours later I can be be belting out John Farnham, Guns’N’Roses, Sia and Bruce Springsteen towards the later part of the reception and then mix up a storm on the DJ Decks, playing anything from house anthems through to 90s RnB jams to 2000-10s dance hits to classic dance floor fillers. But more importantly I get a gauge of the songs and artists that you are into and again, make your special day…even more perfect.

sadly, I’ve heard of countless wedding vendors take 50% deposits or higher and disappearing or refusing to return the money if there is a date change for whatever the reason may be. This is why I only ask for $90 to lock the date in and the balance 3 days before the wedding. Zero risk and peace of mind for you. For further assurance, I have a strong network of musicians and DJs so on the 0.000000000001% chance that I couldn’t make it, I would have your day covered by my amazing comrades.

I can play any song you like …. First Dance, Walking Down the Aisle, Signing Song, Celebration “You’re Married!” Song, Father and Daughter, Mother and Son Dance etc.

And I work in seamlessly with your MC (or I can MC for you).

I can even add special touches such as putting on ‘theme’ tunes as the bridal party walks in to really set the celebration alight, play an old school rap tune or ‘High School Musical’ number that the bridesmaids might want to perform for a speech…or play special songs during a speech for extra effect.
